O Fundo Monetário Internacional (FMI) vai baixar em algumas décimas as previsões de crescimento económico mundial para este ano e 2013, avança esta sexta-feira o jornal de economia alemão Handelsblatt, citado pela agência France Press.
O título alemão revela excertos do 'World Economic Outlook' da entidade, relatório sobre a situação económica mundial a ser revelado no começo da próxima semana.
No documento, o FMI estima agora um crescimento económico de 3,3% em 2012, abaixo dos 3,5% tidos como certos em Julho, e aponta para 3,6% em 2013, também abaixo da previsão inicial de 3,9%.
O FMI reforça também o apelo a que os líderes da Zona Euro, mas também dos Estados Unidos, tomem "passos decisivos" no restaurar da confiança nas respectivas economias.
O relatório estima também uma contracção da economia na Zona Euro de 0,4% este ano e um ténue avanço de 0,2% em 2013.
A economia chinesa deverá avançar 8,2% em 2013, a indiana 6% e a brasileira 4%, foi também agora revelado.
As novas previsões do FMI deverão ser oficialmente anunciadas na terça-feira, em Tóquio, no Japão, durante a assembleia anual conjunta da entidade e do Banco Mundial.
